The $300 million QueensPlaza retail development at the corner of Edward and Queen Streets and fronting the mall will be anchored by David Jones occupying 27,000 square metres of the total 36,000 square metres being created.  There will be up to 90 specialty retailers.  Stage 1 of the nine level centre is scheduled for completion in Late 2004.  It is a Gandel Retail Trust development.  This facility will add another dimension to the retail experience in Brisbane's central business district.
